  • 1 cup spinach Packed with vitamins; can substitute with kale.
  • 1 cup coconut water Enhances flavor and adds electrolytes.
  • 1 tablespoon honey Optional sweetener; can substitute with agave or maple syrup.

Preparation

  • Clear your kitchen counter and gather all necessary tools: a cutting board, knife, and blender.
  • Chop the fresh pineapple into bite-sized pieces.
  • If using a raw beet, wash, peel, and cook it in boiling water for 30-40 minutes until tender, then chop into pieces.
  • Peel the banana and break it into chunks.
  • Rinse the spinach leaves under cold water.

Blending

  • Add the chopped pineapple, cooked beet, banana, spinach, and coconut water to the blender.
  • Blend on low speed, gradually increasing until smooth, for about 30 seconds to 1 minute.

Final Touches

  • Taste your smoothie and add honey if desired, blending again briefly until mixed.
  • Pour the smoothie into a glass and garnish as desired.

Notes
