  • 1 pack Skewers (wooden or metal) If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes.

Preparation

  • Start by gathering all your ingredients.
  • Cube the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces.
  • Cut fresh pineapple into chunky pieces.

Marinade

  • In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  • Add the cubed chicken to the marinade, ensuring each piece is well coated.
  • Cover the bowl and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes, preferably for several hours or overnight.

Grilling

  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  • Thread a piece of marinated chicken followed by a piece of pineapple on the skewers.
  • Carefully place the kabobs on the hot grill, avoiding overcrowding.
  • Grill the skewers for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally until fully cooked.
  • Ensure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  • Carefully remove the kabobs from the grill and place them on a serving platter.
  • Serve hot with sides like rice or salad.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze them in a freezer-safe bag for 2-3 months.
