Ingredients
  

Pork and Beans

  • 1 lb pork shoulder cut into cubes
  • 2 cups canned white beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • Add pork cubes and brown on all sides.
  • Stir in onion and garlic, cooking until softened.
  • Add tomato sauce, chicken broth, and beans. Stir to combine.
  • Reduce heat and simmer for 35–40 minutes until pork is tender.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve warm.

Notes

Serve with crusty bread or over rice. Leftovers taste even better the next day.
