  • 1 teaspoon Salt, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Rosemary, chopped

Vegetables

  • 2 cups Quick-Cooking Vegetables (bell peppers, zucchini, or asparagus) Choose any combination based on your preference or season.

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients and ensure your kitchen workspace is clean and organized.
  • Season each side of the pork chops with salt and black pepper.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until it shimmers.
  • Add minced garlic and chopped rosemary to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until aromatic.
  • Carefully place the seasoned pork chops into the skillet. Sear for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
  • Flip the pork chops and continue cooking for another 4-5 minutes, checking with a meat thermometer for 145°F internal temperature.
  • Remove the pork chops and let them rest covered with foil for about 5 minutes.
  • In the same skillet, add the quick-cooking vegetables and sauté for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  • Plate the pork chops and serve with sautéed vegetables, optionally drizzled with olive oil.

Notes

To enhance flavor, consider marinating pork chops in olive oil, garlic, and rosemary for a couple of hours. Use fresh herbs for a vibrant taste, and choose vegetables that complement the richness of the pork.
