Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Gather all ingredients for convenience.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine pretzel crumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, and season with salt and pepper.

Coating the Chicken

  • Coat each chicken breast thoroughly in yellow mustard.
  • Dredge the mustard-coated chicken in the pretzel crumb mixture until fully covered.

Baking

  • Place the coated chicken breasts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until chicken is cooked through and reaches 165°F (75°C).

  • Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese is melted.
