  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 0.25 cup butter, softened Can substitute with plant-based butter for dairy-free
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract For frosting

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your loaf pan.
  • Gather all the ingredients on the countertop.

Mix Dry Ingredients

  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger until well blended.

Mix Wet Ingredients

  • In a separate bowl, combine granulated sugar, brown sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, pumpkin puree, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.

Combine Mixtures

  • Gradually add the dry mixture into the wet mixture and stir until just combined.

Bake the Bread

  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Smooth the top and bake for 60-70 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
  • Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

Prepare Frosting
