  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 10.5 oz can cream of chicken soup
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional for searing)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
  • to taste none fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients and equipment.
  • If desired, sear the chicken in olive oil for 2-3 minutes on each side.

Cooking

  • In the slow cooker, combine cream of chicken soup, ranch seasoning mix, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Stir until well-blended.
  • Add the seared (or raw) chicken into the sauce mixture, ensuring each piece is well-coated.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  • Check the internal temperature of the chicken to ensure it reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • Remove chicken, shred it with two forks, and return it to the crockpot.
  • Stir in the sour cream until fully combined.
  • Optionally, add shredded cheddar cheese and let it melt slightly before serving.

Serving

  • Serve the creamy ranch chicken onto plates or bowls. Enjoy with your favorite sides!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. For longer storage, freeze in containers for up to 3 months.
