Rebel Root Beer Float Wraps
A delightful handheld dessert combining the flavors of root beer float with vanilla ice cream, chocolate, and whipped cream, all wrapped in a warm tortilla.
Ingredients
Root Beer Whipped Cream
- ½ cup heavy whipping cream Chilled for better whipping
- 2 tablespoons concentrated root beer
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar Can be replaced with a sugar-free alternative
Wrap Ingredients
- 4 medium flour tortillas Can substitute with gluten-free tortillas
- 1 pint vanilla ice cream Can use dairy-free alternatives
- ¼ cup mini chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons chocolate sauce
- 4 pieces maraschino cherries with stems
Instructions
Preparation
- Start by gathering all your ingredients. Measuring and setting everything out will make the assembly process smoother.
- In a chilled mixing bowl, pour in the heavy cream and begin whipping it with a hand mixer or stand mixer on medium speed.
- Once the cream starts to thicken, add in the powdered sugar and concentrated root beer. Continue whipping until soft peaks form, then refrigerate.
- Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 10-15 seconds per side until pliable.
Assembly
- Place a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream in the center of each warmed tortilla.
- Drizzle chocolate sauce over the ice cream.
- Sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top of the ice cream.
- Spoon a generous amount of the root beer whipped cream over the ice cream and chocolate chips.
- Gently fold the sides of the tortilla inwards over the filling, then roll up tightly.
- Place each wrap seam-side down on a serving plate and garnish with a maraschino cherry on top.

- Serve immediately for the best texture and temperature.
Notes
For a dairy-free version, use coconut whipped cream and dairy-free ice cream. Ensure tortillas are warmed properly to avoid cracking.
