  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a 9-inch pie pan.
  • Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat.
  • Remove from heat, then stir in sugar, add eggs one at a time, and finally add vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt before folding into the wet ingredients.

Baking

  • Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pie pan.
  • Drizzle caramel sauce over the first layer of batter and sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
  • Spread the remaining brownie batter on top of the caramel and chocolate chip layer.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
  • Let the pie cool in the pan before slicing and serving.

Notes

Serve with vanilla or caramel ice cream, whipped cream, fresh berries, or additional drizzles of caramel or chocolate sauce. Store leftovers in the fridge for 4-5 days or wrap and freeze for up to 2 months.
