Equipment

  • Oven-safe skillet
  • Baking dish

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets skin-on or skinless, ~6 oz each
  • 8 oz large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 tsp cayenne pepper optional
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 0.5 lemon juice only
  • fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  • Pat salmon and shrimp dry. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and cayenne. Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice. Let rest for 10 minutes.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet. Sear salmon (2-3 min per side), then shrimp (1-2 min per side). Remove and set aside.
  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In a baking dish or the same skillet, arrange seared seafood. Add minced garlic and additional seasoning if desired.
  • Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until salmon flakes and shrimp are opaque. Remove and let rest briefly before serving.
  • Garnish with parsley and lemon slices. Serve hot with rice, mashed potatoes, or pasta.

Notes

Try variations like Cajun seasoning or a Chinese-style soy-ginger glaze. Pairs well with rice, pasta, or roasted vegetables. Can be meal-prepped and stored for 2–3 days.
