Ingredients
  

Noodles

  • 9 pieces lasagna noodles

Cheese Mixture

  • 2 cups ricotta cheese Can be substituted with cottage cheese or Greek yogurt.
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese Additional cheese can be used for toppings.
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Seafood

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined Fresh shrimp enhances flavor.
  • 1 pound crab meat Can be substituted with scallops or other seafood.

Sauce and Seasonings

  • 2 cups marinara sauce Alternatively, use a creamy white sauce.
  • 1 cup heavy cream Can be substituted with half-and-half or dairy-free cream.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper To taste

Garnish

  • Fresh parsley For garnish

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix until well blended.

Seafood Preparation

  • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the shrimp until they are pink, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Add crab meat and Italian seasoning. Pour in half of the marinara sauce and stir gently.

Build and Bake

  • In a baking dish, spread a thin layer of marinara sauce. Layer with noodles, dollops of the ricotta mixture, seafood mixture, and shredded mozzarella cheese. Repeat until all ingredients are used.
  • Pour heavy cream over the top layer and sprinkle Parmesan cheese. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes until bubbly.
  • Let it cool for 10-15 minutes and garnish with parsley. Slice and serve warm.
