Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients. Rinse the beef under cold water and pat it dry with paper towels.
  • Rub the beef chuck roast with salt, black pepper, and paprika, ensuring an even coating.

Cooking

  • Place the seasoned beef into your slow cooker with the sliced onions and minced garlic.
  • Pour in the beef broth.
  • Set the slow cooker to low and cover it. Cook for about 8 hours, or until the meat is tender.
  • After cooking, remove the beef and shred it using two forks, mixing in the collected juices.
  • Return the shredded beef to the slow cooker and mix well.

Assembly

  • Slice the sandwich rolls open and toast if desired.
