Preparation

  • Start by peeling and deveining the shrimp if not done already. Gather all your ingredients, including garlic, crushed tomatoes, and seasonings to ensure a smooth cooking process.

Cooking the Sauce

  • Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Once shimmering, add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in the crushed tomatoes and white wine. Stir well to combine.
  • Reduce heat to low and let the sauce simmer for about 10 minutes.
  • Season sauce with salt and black pepper to taste, adjusting as necessary.
  • Add the shrimp to the sauce and cook for about 3-5 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.

Serving

  • Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and toss with the shrimp sauce.
  • Plate the dish and garnish with fresh basil leaves to serve.

Notes

To enhance flavor, serve with a side salad and garlic bread. You can store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
