  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

  • ½ cup milk

Buttercream Frosting

  • 4 cups powdered sugar

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with 12 cupcake liners.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add the butter, eggs, vanilla, and milk to the dry ingredients. Beat with a hand mixer until smooth.
  • Divide the batter evenly into the cupcake liners, filling each about two-thirds full.
  • Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool completely.
  • To make the frosting, beat the softened butter until creamy. Gradually add the powdered sugar, then vanilla and milk; beat until light and fluffy.
  • Frost the cooled cupcakes and decorate with festive sprinkles.
