Ingredients
  

  • 12 slider buns mini hamburger buns
  • 1 lb ground beef or chicken
  • 6 slices cheddar or American cheese halved
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 tomato sliced
  • 1 cup pickles sliced
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • ¼ cup mustard
  • 1 onion diced
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Gather all ingredients and prep your workspace.
  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat or oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Form ground meat into 12 small patties, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  • Cook patties 4–5 minutes per side, until fully cooked (165°F / 74°C).
  • Top each patty with half a cheese slice and let melt.
  • Lightly toast slider buns on the grill or in oven for 2 minutes.
  • Assemble sliders: bottom bun, patty with cheese, lettuce, tomato slice, pickles, onions, ketchup, mustard.
  • Top with the bun lids and serve warm.

Notes

Swap beef for turkey, lamb, or plant-based ground for dietary needs. Add avocado, jalapeños, or mushrooms for extra flavor. Gluten-free buns work well too.
