  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • ¼ cup green onions, chopped For garnish

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients. Mince the garlic and grate the ginger.

Cooking

  • Place the chicken thighs in the slow cooker.
  • In a bowl, whisk together honey, sriracha, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, and rice vinegar.
  • Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken thighs, ensuring they are well coated.
  • Cover and set the slow cooker to cook either low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  • Once cooking is complete, shred the chicken with two forks inside the slow cooker.
  • Stir the shredded chicken into the sauce.
  • Taste the sauce and adjust seasoning as needed.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

For enhanced flavor, consider marinating the chicken in the sauce overnight.
