Ingredients
  

For the Cupcakes

  • 1 box chocolate cupcake mix Use packaged mix based on preference.
  • as per package instructions eggs, oil, water Follow instructions on the box.

For the Decoration

  • 1 cup vanilla frosting Store-bought or homemade.
  • as needed mini marshmallows For snowman body.
  • as needed chocolate chips or edible markers For eyes and buttons.
  • as needed orange candy or fondant For the snowman's nose.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to the temperature indicated on the cupcake mix box and gather all ingredients.

Cooking

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cupcake mix with the required eggs, oil, and water. Mix until smooth and pour the batter into lined cupcake tins.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for the recommended time or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Cooling

  • Remove cupcakes from the oven and cool in the pan for 5 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Frosting

  • Spread a generous amount of vanilla frosting on top of each cooled cupcake.

Decoration

  • Stack two mini marshmallows on top of each frosted cupcake to form the snowman head.
  • Use chocolate chips or edible markers to add eyes and buttons to the marshmallows.
  • Shape an orange candy or fondant into a nose and place it on the top marshmallow.
  • Add any additional decorations for personalization.

Notes

Store in an airtight container; refrigerate if in a warm environment. Best consumed within 2 days at room temperature or 3 days in the fridge.
