  • 1 box vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup butter, softened Make sure to soften to room temperature.
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup colorful sprinkles Can be substituted with seasonal decorations.

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients, ensuring the butter is softened.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Add the eggs and vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
  • Stir in the vanilla pudding mix until well blended with the wet ingredients.
  • In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Gently fold in the colorful sprinkles.
  • Using a tablespoon, drop balls of dough onto a prepared baking sheet with space between them.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
  • Allow to cool on baking sheet for a couple of minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for freshness. Can refrigerate for up to a week or freeze for three months. Reheat in the microwave for 10-15 seconds for a warm treat.
