  • 200 g Spaghetti
  • 4 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon Red pepper flakes Adjust to taste for spiciness
  • 2 tablespoons Parsley, chopped For garnish

Preparation

  • Gather all the ingredients. Measure out 200g of spaghetti, 4 tablespoons of olive oil, and finely mince 4 cloves of garlic.

Cooking

  • In a large pot, bring water to a rolling boil. Add a generous amount of salt.
  • Once boiled, toss in the spaghetti and stir gently. Cook according to package instructions, about 8–10 minutes for al dente.
  • While the pasta cooks, heat 4 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes to the pan. Sauté gently until the garlic is golden and fragrant, about 2–3 minutes.
  • Once your pasta is cooked, reserve a cup of the pasta water and drain the rest.
  • Add the drained spaghetti into the pan with the garlic oil. Toss gently to ensure the spaghetti is well-coated.
  • Season your dish with salt, pepper, and the reserved pasta water. Toss in chopped parsley for freshness.

Notes

This dish can be served with grilled chicken or shrimp for a heartier meal, and pairs well with a fresh salad or crusty bread. For variations, incorporate vegetables or different spices as desired.
