For Topping and Decoration

  • 1 whipped cream For topping.
  • 1 package chocolate cookies For crumbling to make 'dirt.'
  • 1 pack candy eyes For decoration.
  • as needed licorice or gummy worms To use as hair.

Preparation

  • Prep your workspace and gather all ingredients.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the instant chocolate pudding mix and milk. Whisk until smooth and thickened, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Add a few drops of green food coloring to the pudding and stir until desired color is achieved.

Assembly

  • In clear cups, layer the green pudding with crumbled chocolate cookies, starting with pudding then a layer of cookies.
  • Top with a generous layer of whipped cream.
  • Decorate with candy eyes to create faces on the whipped cream.
  • Add pieces of licorice or gummy worms on top for hair.

Finishing Up

  • Cover the cups with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour before serving.

Notes

Store in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days. Not recommended to freeze as texture may change. Engage children in decorating for added fun.
