St. Patrick’s Day Oreo Treats

Festive no-bake Oreo treats decorated for St. Patrick’s Day — e.g. dipped Oreos or Oreo truffles with green/white coating and sprinkles.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 package Oreo cookies classic or mint flavor
  • candy melts or white chocolate for coating (green, white, or color as preferred)
  • food coloring (green) if using white chocolate
  • sprinkles / green sanding sugar for decoration

Instructions
 

  • Line a baking tray or sheet with parchment or wax paper and set aside.
  • If using white chocolate instead of colored candy melts, melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl (in 20–30 second intervals), stirring until smooth, then add a few drops of green food coloring.
  • Melt candy melts or chocolate in a microwave-safe container, stirring frequently until fully melted.
  • Dip each Oreo cookie into the melted coating, using a fork to lift and shake off excess coating.
  • Place coated Oreos on the parchment sheet, and immediately sprinkle with green sprinkles, sanding sugar or other decorations before the coating sets.
  • Allow the coating to fully harden (at room temperature or in the fridge) before serving or packaging.

Notes

You can use colored candy melts (green, white) or melt white chocolate and tint it green. Add decorations before the coating hardens so they stick. Store in an airtight container.
