Instructions
Prep your workspace and gather ingredients, skillet, and crockpot.
Heat skillet over medium and cook ground beef, onion, and garlic until beef is browned, 5–7 minutes.
Transfer beef mixture to crockpot.
Add diced tomatoes and chili beans with their juices.
Stir in tomato paste and beef broth.
Add chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
Cover crockpot and cook on low 6–8 hours or high 3–4 hours.
Taste and adjust seasoning 30 minutes before serving.
Serve hot with optional toppings like cheese, sour cream, or green onions.
Notes
For a leaner version, swap beef with turkey. Use vegetable broth and plant-based protein for a vegetarian alternative.
