Equipment

  • Knife

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb steak cooked and sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar, Monterey Jack, or preferred cheese
  • 2 cups crispy fries cooked until golden brown
  • 4 large flour tortillas warmed
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup salsa
  • salt and pepper to taste

Optional Toppings

  • guacamole optional
  • jalapeños optional
  • hot sauce optional

Instructions

  • Prepare all ingredients. Cook the steak to your desired doneness, then let it rest before slicing.
  • Cook the steak in a skillet over medium-high heat, seasoning with salt and pepper for 6–8 minutes until tender.
  • Cook the fries until golden brown and crispy. Set aside.
  • Warm the flour tortillas for about 30 seconds on each side until soft and pliable.
  • Assemble the burritos: layer sliced steak, fries, and cheese on each tortilla.
  • Add sour cream and salsa, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Roll the burritos tightly, tucking in the edges to secure the filling.
  • Grill each burrito in a pan for 1 minute per side to melt the cheese and crisp the tortilla.
  • Slice and serve with your favorite toppings like guacamole or jalapeños.

Notes

For a spicier kick, use pepper jack cheese or add extra hot sauce. You can substitute steak with grilled chicken or veggies for a lighter option.
