  • Wash the russet potatoes thoroughly to remove any dirt.
  • Cut each potato into thick wedges, ensuring they are uniform for even cooking.

Cooking

  • In a large mixing bowl, place the cut potato wedges and drizzle over the olive oil. Toss well to coat.
  • Sprinkle the garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper over the wedges. Mix until evenly seasoned.
  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the potato wedges in a single layer.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes to start forming a crust.
  • Turn the fries halfway through, then return to the oven for another 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
