Ingredients
  

Strawberry Ice Cream Base

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries hulled and chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 pinch salt

Serving

  • 6 waffle cones

Instructions
 

  • In a blender or food processor, purée the chopped strawberries until smooth.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the strawberry purée, heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt. Mix until well combined.
  • Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container. Cover and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
  • Once the ice cream is set, scoop into waffle cones and serve immediately.

Notes

For a chunkier texture, reserve some chopped strawberries and fold them into the mixture before freezing. You can also drizzle melted chocolate over the scooped ice cream for an extra indulgent treat.
