Preparation

  • Start by gathering all your ingredients. Make sure your strawberries are diced and your milk is ready to go.
  • In a large bowl or jar, mix the rolled oats with your milk of choice.
  • Sprinkle in the matcha powder and mix thoroughly to ensure no lumps remain.
  • Add honey or maple syrup for sweetness, stirring well to combine.
  • Pour in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. Stir until evenly distributed.
  • Gently fold in the diced strawberries, ensuring they’re spread evenly throughout the mix.
  • Cover the bowl or jar and refrigerate overnight.
  • In the morning, stir and enjoy your oats chilled or warm them up for 30 seconds to a minute in the microwave.
  • Top with additional strawberries or nuts if desired.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 3 to 5 days. Can freeze for individual portions, thawing overnight in the fridge before use.
