Ingredients
  

For the crust

  • 2 cups crushed pretzels Make sure to crush into small pieces.
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar For the crust mixture.

For the filling

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup whipped topping Ensure it's light and airy.
  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced Fresh strawberries recommended.
  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, drained Make sure to drain thoroughly.

Preparation

  • Gather all ingredients and crush the pretzels.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Cook the Base

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed pretzels, melted butter, and sugar until well coated.
  • Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes and set aside to cool completely.

Mix Cream Cheese

  • In another bowl, blend softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy.

Fold in Whipped Topping

  • Gently fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture while preserving the fluffiness.

Combine Fruits

  • Mix sliced strawberries and drained crushed pineapple in a large bowl.
  • Gently fold in the cream cheese and whipped topping mixture until fruits are coated.

Assemble the Dessert

  • Spread the fruit and cream mixture on top of the cooled crust, smoothing it out evenly.

Chill the Dessert

  • Place the dish in the refrigerator and allow the mixture to chill for at least 4 hours.
