Ingredients

For the Crust

  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ¾ cup butter, melted

For the Filling

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained

Instructions

Preparation

  • Start by gathering all your ingredients. Crush the pretzels in a zip-top bag or use a food processor until fine. Ensure you have your butter melted and the cream cheese softened to make mixing easier.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, combine the crushed pretzels, sugar, and melted butter. Mix them until the pretzels are well combined and coated.
  • Once mixed, press the pretzel mixture into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish evenly. This will form the delicious crust for your Strawberry Pretzel Fluff.
  • Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 10 minutes. When done, remove from the oven and allow it to cool completely before proceeding.

Filling Preparation

  • In a separate bowl, use a mixer to beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. This forms the base of your fluffy filling.
  • Carefully fold in the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture. Mix gently to maintain the fluffiness and light texture of the whipped topping.
  • Add the sliced strawberries and drained crushed pineapple to the cream cheese and whipped topping mixture. Stir gently until fully combined.

Assembly and Serving

  • Spread the fruit and cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled pretzel crust. Make sure to cover the crust completely for a beautiful presentation.
  • Refrigerate the assembled Strawberry Pretzel Fluff for at least 2 hours. This chilling time allows the flavors to meld and the dessert to set properly for easy slicing.
  • After chilling, slice into squares and serve. Enjoy this delightful dessert with friends and family.
