  • 1 pound fresh strawberries (washed and hulled) Ensure they are fresh and hulled.
  • ½ cup heavy whipping cream Can substitute with coconut cream for dairy-free option.
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar Use a sugar substitute for sugar-free option.
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • as needed mini chocolate chips or black sesame seeds (for eyes) Optional for decoration.

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients.
  • In a mixing bowl, pour in the heavy whipping cream and beat until it starts to thicken (2-3 minutes).
  • Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, continuing to mix until stiff peaks form (1-2 more minutes).
  • Take each hulled strawberry and set it upright on a plate.
  • Attach a dollop of whipped cream to the base of each strawberry to form the beard.
  • Pipe a small dot of whipped cream on top of the strawberry for the hat's pom-pom.
  • Place two mini chocolate chips or black sesame seeds on the whipped cream for eyes.
  • Pipe two small dots of whipped cream down the front of the strawberry for buttons.
  • Add any additional decorations or touches.
  • Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in an airtight container for up to four hours. Avoid freezing as strawberries lose texture.
