  • 1 large egg Bind the ingredients together
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced For flavor enhancement
  • 1 tsp onion powder Can be substituted with fresh onions
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper

Sauce and Garnish Ingredients

  • ½ cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp lime juice Adds brightness
  • ¼ cup sour cream For dipping sauce
  • 1 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped For garnish and dipping sauce

Preparation

  • Gather and measure all necessary ingredients.

Mix Meatball Ingredients

  • In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix thoroughly until evenly distributed.

Form the Meatballs

  • Roll the mixture into small balls, about one inch in diameter.
  • Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake the Meatballs

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes, turning halfway through.

Prepare the Sweet Chili Sauce

  • Mix sweet chili sauce with lime juice in a small bowl.

Make the Dipping Sauce

  • Combine sour cream, lime juice, and chopped cilantro in another bowl.

Serve the Meatballs

  • After baking, drizzle sweet chili sauce over the meatballs.
  • Serve with lime dipping sauce on the side.

Notes

Meatballs can be made ahead of time and stored. They freeze well up to three months.
