  • 100 g coconut cream

  • 50 g brown sugar Can substitute with coconut sugar.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients and pre-measure them for a smooth process.
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

Mixing the Base

  • In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, desiccated coconut, and a pinch of salt.

Mixing Wet Ingredients

  • In another bowl, whisk together coconut cream, honey (or maple syrup), brown sugar, and vanilla extract.

Combining Mixtures

  • Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until well combined.

Baking

  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish, spread evenly, and press down firmly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes, until golden brown.
  • Allow to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before lifting out.

Finishing Touches

  • Cut the flapjacks into squares or rectangles.
  • Let them cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
