Ingredients
  

Bread Dough

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp instant yeast
  • ¼ cup sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ cup warm milk
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter softened
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until foamy.
  • Add the condensed milk, egg, flour, and salt. Mix until a dough begins to form.
  • Knead the dough for about 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic, then gradually knead in the softened butter.
  • Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for about 60 minutes or until doubled in size.
  • Shape the dough and place it into a greased loaf pan. Cover and let it rise again for about 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
  • Allow the bread to cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

For extra shine, brush the top with a little melted butter or condensed milk after baking. This bread stays soft when stored in an airtight container.
