Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made pie crust flaky base
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or your choice of cheese
  • 1 cup cooked turkey chopped
  • ½ cup cooked spinach or kale optional
  • ½ cup diced onion
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • fresh herbs for garnish, optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare and chop all ingredients.
  • Place pre-made pie crust in a pie dish and crimp the edges. Prick the bottom with a fork.
  • If using fresh spinach or kale, sauté in olive oil until wilted and set aside.
  • Whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper in a bowl until smooth.
  • Layer chopped turkey, veggies, cheese, and onion in the pie crust evenly.
  • Pour egg mixture over the filling and shake gently to distribute.
  • Bake for 30–35 minutes until golden brown and the egg is set.
  • Cool slightly before slicing. Garnish with herbs if desired and serve warm.

Notes

This recipe can be made ahead of time and reheated before serving. Try different cheeses or add vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms for variation.
