  • 3 green onions chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced

Instructions
 

  • Slice the flank steak thinly against the grain to ensure tenderness. Prepare all ingredients before starting.
  • In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, and cornstarch until smooth.
  • Coat the sliced beef evenly with the sauce mixture and let it marinate for a few minutes.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat until shimmering.
  • Add the beef in a single layer and cook for 3–4 minutes, turning occasionally until browned and caramelized.
  • Add garlic, ginger, and chopped green onions. Stir-fry for an additional 2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Adjust sauce consistency with a splash of water if needed. Stir until beef is coated and glossy.
