  • 1 cup water As per cake mix instructions.
  • ½ cup oil Usually added for moisture.

For the Frosting and Decoration

  • 1 container frosting (chocolate or vanilla) Choose your favorite flavor.
  • 1 bag candy corn For creating turkey beaks.
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips Used for the eyes.
  • 1 set gel food coloring Various colors for decoration.
  • 12 pieces cupcake liners To enhance presentation.

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients and pre-measure them to save time.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Making the Batter

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix with the eggs, water, and oil. Mix until smooth.
  • Line your cupcake tin with cupcake liners and pour the batter into each liner, filling them two-thirds full.

Baking the Cupcakes

  • Bake for 18-22 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow them to cool in the tin for 5 minutes and then cool completely on a wire rack.

Frosting and Decorating

  • Once cooled, frost each cupcake generously with your chosen frosting.
