  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 cups chocolate pudding Use high-quality for richer flavor
  • 2 cups whipped cream Dairy-free alternatives can be used
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients in one place.
  • Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions; drain and let cool slightly.

Mixing the Creamy Base

  • In a large mixing bowl, blend together the ricotta cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and well combined.

Layer Assembly

  • Begin layering in a baking dish. Place a layer of cooked lasagna noodles at the bottom.
  • Spread a layer of the ricotta mixture over the noodles.
  • Add a layer of chocolate pudding on top of the ricotta layer.
  • Add a thick layer of whipped cream on top of the pudding.
  • Drizzle caramel sauce over the whipped cream and sprinkle with chopped pecans.
  • Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used up, finishing with whipped cream on top.
  • Top off with chocolate chips and more pecans.

Chill the Dessert

  • Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or preferably overnight.

Notes

Best served chilled. Pair with vanilla ice cream or dessert wine for an excellent combination. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to a week.
