Ingredients
  

Burger Patties

  • 1 lb ground beef preferably ground chuck for better flavor
  • salt and pepper to taste

Burger Assembly

  • 4 hamburger buns brioche, sesame, or whole wheat
  • 2 cups cooked macaroni
  • 2 cups cheese sauce homemade or store-bought
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Optional Toppings

  • lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles optional for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Gather and prepare all ingredients before starting to cook.
  • Preheat grill or stovetop pan over medium-high heat.
  • Form ground beef into four equal-sized patties and season with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • Grill or pan-sear patties for 4–5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness is reached.
  • Meanwhile, prepare macaroni and cheese according to package instructions or your preferred recipe.
  • Place a scoop of macaroni and cheese on top of each cooked beef patty.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar over the mac and cheese and allow it to melt slightly.
  • Toast buns lightly if desired, then place the patty on the bottom bun.
  • Add any desired toppings such as lettuce, tomato, or pickles, then cover with the top bun.
  • Serve immediately while hot and enjoy the cheesy, meaty goodness.

Notes

For an extra flavor boost, try adding barbecue sauce, bacon, or a slice of pepper jack cheese. You can also prepare the mac and cheese ahead of time to save prep time. Perfect for cookouts or comfort food nights!
