  • 1 cup Creamy citrus poppyseed dressing Store-bought or homemade, serves to enhance flavor

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Wash the broccoli under cold water and cut into bite-sized florets.
  • Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy (about 6–8 minutes).

Cooking

  • Place the cooked bacon on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess grease and let it cool before crumbling into pieces.
  • Toast the chopped almonds in the same skillet over low heat for about 3–5 minutes, stirring frequently.

Assembly

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the broccoli, crumbled bacon, toasted almonds, sunflower seeds, and dried cranberries.
  • In a separate bowl, pour in the creamy citrus poppyseed dressing and whisk until blended.
  • Pour the dressing over the salad mixture and toss gently to coat evenly.
  • Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour before serving.
