  • 4 oz Chorizo Spicy Spanish sausage.

Fresh Fruits

  • 1 pint Strawberries Preferably fresh.
  • 1 lb Grapes Any variety.
  • 6-8 pieces Figs If in season.

Nuts

  • 1 cup Almonds Raw or roasted.
  • 1 cup Walnuts Chopped or whole.

Extras

  • 1 cup Olives Assorted varieties.
  • 1 cup Pickles Assorted types.
  • 1 box Crackers or Breadsticks Choose your favorite.
  • 1 small jar Honey For drizzling.
  • 1 small jar Jam Optional.
  • to taste Chocolate Optional, for a romantic touch.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather all components of your Valentine Charcuterie Board.
  • Wash and cut fruits as necessary, slice the cheeses into bite-sized pieces, and portion the meats.
  • Arrange the ingredients in small bowls if preferred, particularly for nuts and olives.

Assembly

  • Take a large platter as your base. Arrange the assorted cheeses first.
  • Fold assorted meats neatly and place them around the cheeses.
  • Fill in spaces with fresh fruits and nuts.
  • Add olives and pickles around the board.
  • Place crackers or breadsticks alongside.
