Ingredients
  

Cupcake Batter

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter softened
  • 2 eggs large
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt

Decoration

  • 2 cups buttercream frosting any preferred flavor
  • vibrant edible flowers for decoration

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with liners.
  • Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, about 3–5 minutes.
  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk to the wet mixture, mixing gently until combined.
  • Divide batter evenly among cupcake liners, filling each about two-thirds full.
  • Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let cupcakes cool for 5 minutes in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Frost cooled cupcakes with buttercream frosting and decorate with edible flowers.

Notes

To keep cupcakes fresh, store them in an airtight container for up to 3 days. For extra elegance, try colored buttercream or chocolate drizzle. Freeze for up to 3 months if needed.
