Ingredients
  

For the coffee soak

  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled Brewed and cooled to room temperature.
  • 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur (optional) Can be omitted for a non-alcoholic version.

For the mascarpone mixture

  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For assembly

  • 1 package ladyfinger cookies
  • Cocoa powder for dusting Use to create a finishing touch.

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients.
  • Brew the coffee and allow it to cool to room temperature.

Soaking Ladyfingers

  • In a shallow dish, combine cooled brewed coffee and optional coffee liqueur.
  • Dip each ladyfinger briefly in the coffee mixture to soak, ensuring they do not become soggy.

Layering

  • Lay the dipped ladyfingers in the bottom of your serving dish to create an even layer.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together mascarpone cheese, heavy whipping cream, sugar, and vanilla until smooth and fluffy.
  • Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the first layer of ladyfingers.
  • Repeat the process by layering more dipped ladyfingers followed by the remaining mascarpone mixture.

Chilling

  • Cover the Tiramisu and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Serving

  • Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder.

Notes

Best served with fresh berries or a drizzle of chocolate sauce. Can also be paired with espresso or dessert wine.
