Main Ingredients

  • 8 oz dark chocolate Can replace with dairy-free chocolate for a vegan option.
  • 8 oz white chocolate Can replace with dairy-free white chocolate for a vegan option.
  • 1 cup mixed nuts, chopped Can substitute with seeds for nut allergies.
  • 1 cup colorful sprinkles Use gluten-free sprinkles if required.

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients and chop the mixed nuts if they are whole.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Melting Chocolate

  • Place the dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in short bursts of 30 seconds, stirring in between until smooth.
  • Pour the melted dark chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet and spread evenly.
  • In a separate bowl, melt the white chocolate using the same microwave method until smooth.

Assembly

  • Drizzle the melted white chocolate over the dark chocolate.
  • Use a toothpick to swirl the two types of melted chocolate together.
  • While the chocolate is still warm, sprinkle the mixed nuts and colorful sprinkles over the top.
  • Press gently to ensure the toppings adhere.

Setting

  • Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator and allow the chocolate to harden for about 20 minutes.
  • Once fully set, remove the bark from the refrigerator and break it into irregular pieces.

Notes

Store the bark in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For longer storage, refrigerate in a sealed container. Freezing is also an option for up to three months.
