  • 200 ml Heavy cream Heated until simmering
  • 50 g Sugar Adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract

  • 100 g Butter Softened
  • 200 g Flour Can substitute with almond or gluten-free flour
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • ¼ tsp Salt

For Topping

  • Fresh fruits, such as strawberries and raspberries For decoration

Preparation

  • Gather all the ingredients and chop the dark chocolate into small pieces for easier melting.
  • Measure out the cream, sugar, and other components.

Chocolate Melting

  • Place the chopped dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl.
  • In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it simmers.
  • Pour the hot cream over the chocolate and let it sit for a minute before whisking until smooth.

Mix Fruit Puree

  • Take fresh fruits and puree them using a blender.
  • Mix in sugar and vanilla extract until well combined.

Combine Dry Ingredients

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

Cream Butter and Sugar

  • In a mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Incorporate Eggs

  • Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

Combine Mixtures

  • Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the butter-sugar-egg mix, stirring until just combined.

Bake the Dessert

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Pour the batter into a greased baking dish or mold and bake.
  • A toothpick inserted into the center should come out clean when done.

Assemble Dessert

  • Once baked, let the treats cool completely.
  • For a layered dessert, slice and layer chocolate mousse and fruity purees alternately.

Decorate and Serve

  • Finish off by decorating with fresh fruits, drizzling more chocolate over the top, or dusting with powdered sugar.
