  • ½ teaspoon black pepper Adds a slight kick.
  • ½ teaspoon paprika For color and flavor.

Preparation

  • Start by gathering and measuring all your ingredients.
  • Rinse and drain the chickpeas thoroughly.

Mixing

  • In a large bowl, combine the drained chickpeas with the olive oil. Toss gently to coat.
  • Sprinkle garlic powder, cumin, salt, black pepper, and paprika over the chickpeas, and stir well.

Baking

  • Spread the seasoned chickpeas on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through for even browning.
  • Once golden brown and crispy, remove from the oven and let cool.

Serving

  • Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
  • Enjoy as a snack, salad topper or in wraps.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for a few days. These chickpeas do not freeze well.
