Preparation

  • Gather all the ingredients and soak the cashews in water for at least four hours.
  • Drain and rinse the soaked cashews.
  • Combine the soaked cashews, water, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, and salt in a high-speed blender.
  • Blend the mixture on high until it reaches a creamy and smooth consistency.
  • Taste and adjust the seasoning, adding more salt or lemon juice as needed.
  • Pour the mixture into a container and refrigerate for at least one hour before serving.
  • Serve as a dip, topping, or ingredient in various recipes.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. Freezing is possible, but the texture may change upon thawing.
