Equipment

  • Microwave-safe bowl
  • 8×8-inch Baking Pan
  • Spatula

Ingredients

Base

  • 3 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tbsp butter optional, for richness

Flavoring & topping

  • 1 tsp mint extract
  • ½ cup crushed peppermint candies or candy canes for topping and swirl
  • ¼ tsp salt just a pinch to balance sweetness

Instructions

  • Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper or foil (greased lightly).
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter (if using).
  • Microwave in 15- to 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until mixture is smooth and fully melted.
  • Stir in mint extract and salt until well combined.
  • Pour most of the fudge mixture into the prepared pan, then sprinkle half of the crushed peppermint candies. Swirl lightly, then pour remaining fudge over top and smooth.
  • Sprinkle remaining crushed candies over the top and gently press them into the surface.
  • Refrigerate until fully set (at least 1–2 hours). Then lift from pan, peel off liner, and cut into squares.

Notes

You can omit the butter if you prefer. If the white chocolate is very thick, warm more gently to avoid scorching. Store fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
