White Trash Snack Mix
A sweet & salty snack mix combining pretzels, cereal, nuts, chocolate, and candy — perfect for parties and snacking.

Ingredients
- 3 cups Corn Chex Cereal
- 3 cups Rice Chex Cereal
- 2 cups Pretzels (mini or twists)
- 1 cup Peanuts or mixed nuts salted
- 1 cup White Chocolate Chips
- 1 cup Butterscotch Chips
- 1 cup M&Ms (or chocolate candies)
- 1 cup Powdered Sugar
- ½ cup Butter melted
- ¼ cup Light Corn Syrup
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine corn Chex, rice Chex, pretzels, peanuts, white chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, and chocolate candies.
- In a small bowl or saucepan, melt butter and corn syrup; stir in vanilla extract.
- Pour the butter-syrup mixture over the cereal mix, stirring gently to coat everything evenly.
- Transfer everything into a large paper bag or plastic zipper bag. Add powdered sugar, seal, and shake until the mix is well coated.
- Spread the coated mix on a sheet pan and let it set/dry for 10–15 minutes before serving.
Notes
You can customize this by swapping candy types, using chocolate chips instead, or adjusting the sweetness. Store in an airtight container for freshness.
