Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment Paper
  • Microwave-safe bowl (or double boiler)
  • Piping bag or small spoon

Ingredients

  • 20 Reese’s Miniatures (peanut butter cups)
  • 20 Pretzel sticks
  • ¼ cup Candy Melting Chips (red) or use decorative gel

Instructions

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Melt the candy melts in the microwave: heat for 45 seconds, stir, and repeat until smooth.
  • Flip each Reese’s Miniature upside down and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Drop a small amount of the melted candy onto the bottom of each Reese’s to act as “glue.” A piping bag or spoon can help.
  • Insert ¼-inch of a pretzel stick into the melted candy on each Reese’s, making sure the pretzel is standing straight. This forms the broomstick handle.
  • Refrigerate for 10 minutes to allow the candy to set and hold the broomstick in place.

Notes

Store in an airtight container to prevent pretzels from going stale. These treats can be made 1-2 days ahead. If your home is warm, refrigerate to avoid the chocolate melting.
