Ingredients
  

  • 12-16 jumbo pasta shells cooked al dente
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 cups fresh spinach chopped
  • 3 cups marinara sauce store-bought or homemade
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ onion chopped
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • food coloring optional, for spooky effect

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook jumbo pasta shells in salted boiling water until al dente, about 8–10 minutes. Drain, rinse with cold water, and set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, spinach, garlic, onion, salt, and pepper until creamy.
  • Stuff each cooled pasta shell with the cheese mixture.
  • Spread a layer of marinara sauce in the bottom of a baking dish, then arrange stuffed shells on top.
  • Ladle remaining marinara sauce over shells. For a spooky twist, stir in green food coloring.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Uncover and bake for another 10 minutes until bubbly.
  • Serve warm and enjoy your spooky zombie guts creation!

Notes

For a vegetarian version, stick with the spinach filling. To make it heartier, add cooked ground beef, turkey, or sausage to the filling. You can also adjust food coloring for extra spooky effects.
