  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Can substitute with fresh minced garlic.
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder Can substitute with fresh shallots.

Preparation

  • Start by cleaning the oyster mushrooms under running water. Remove any dirt but be careful not to soak them. Trim the stems to your desired length.
  • In a bowl, combine olive oil with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well-combined.
  • Add the cleaned mushrooms to the bowl with the seasoning. Gently toss the mushrooms until evenly coated.

Cooking

  • Preheat your air fryer to 200°C (390°F) for about 3-5 minutes.
  • Place the coated mushrooms in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Avoid overcrowding.
  • Set the air fryer timer for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
  • Check for doneness and air fry for an additional 2-3 minutes if needed.

Serving

  • Remove the mushrooms from the air fryer and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For best results, consume within 24 hours.
